New Here?
Ministries are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place.
It excites us you’re interested in knowing more about Christ and this local body of believers.
Look around the site, check out our ministries, watch a message, sign-up for one of Thankful’s ministries, or jump in and serve with us. Regardless of how you get involved, we’re glad you’re here.
The Gospel is ultimately about humanity being restored to God’s community. Only through practicing community will individuals grow fully in the grace and knowledge to be found in Jesus. It is a through community that a fragmented world can best witness the power of the Gospel and the nature of God’s work. As a culture of confession, transformation, friendship, forgiveness, justice, power, and love springs up in the lives of normal people, those who don’t know Christ will be compelled to ask: “what is happening at Thankful?”
Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at our Sunday worship service a 10:45 AM. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
Community Members
Though each Christian has a personal relationship with God, that relationship is not individual or private. We do not intend the Christian faith to be lived in isolation. We were made to live in fellowship with God and with each other. The local church is not merely a place that we attend but a people to whom we belong. The Bible calls us members of the body (1 Corinthians 12:12-31) expecting we contribute to the body for the glory of God and the good of His people.
